Every human being has intrinsic value and deserves to be treated with dignity.

MISSION

At Beaches Homeless Coalition (BHC), we uplift and serve the homeless population of the Jacksonville beaches with compassion, love, and respect - without expectations. Homelessness should not be a barrier to accessing resources and support. With a robust network of community partners and volunteers, BHC helps to connects those in need with essential services.  

WHAT WE DO

Through a network of churches, local ministries, volunteers, and stakeholders, we facilitate safe events that provide temporary shelter, food, clothing, hygiene assistance, transportation, information, and other support.

Love: Our interactions are characterized by love, kindness, and compassion.

Collaboration: We work hand in hand with our community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to create a network of support that is greater than the sum of its parts. 

Accountability: We are committed to transparency and accountability. We pledge to steward the resources entrusted to us and continuously work to evaluate and improve them.

Unconditional Service: We meet the people we serve “where they are.”  We provide comfort without judgment and point people to resources when they are ready.
